Businesses are open on Van Ronkle
During this time of construction in preparation for the Markham Street Corridor Improvement Project, Conway Corp is currently making infrastructure improvements to the section of Van Ronkle, between Markham Street and Court Street. This section of Van Ronkle will be closed until July 20 to through traffic.
However, the folks at Sporty Runner and Stitcher's Garden are open for business. The sidewalks are clear and open and the kind folks at the Sporty Runner have provided a very handy parking guide for your convenience.
Parking area 1 - Conway Chamber of Commerce parking lot
Parking area 2 - The parking lot west of the Hole in the Wall Restaurant
Parking area 3 - Larry's Pizza parking lot
Parking area 4 - On street parking on Van Ronkle west of Markham, across from US Bank
Parking area 5 - On street parking on Chestnut, between Van Ronkle and Oak
Parking area 6 - On street parking on Spencer St, west of US Bank
Parking area 7 - On street parking on Oak St, between Chestnut and Court St
Parking area 8 - On street parking on Court St, south of Oak St
Conway Community Band Presents: "An American Celebration"
The Conway Community Band's season finale will be this Saturday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m.
The band has a wonderful section of patriotic tunes that they will be performing to celebrate our nation's birth.
Bring a blanket, or a folding chair to Simon Park this Saturday and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Conway Community Band while they present, "An American Celebration"
