Mayor Bart Castleberry and Sandstone Real Estate Principal Broker Korry Garrett will be among the featured speakers at Big Facts: A conversation about culture, community and Conway on Monday.

The event, hosted by local activist Jimmy D. Warren II, begins at 6 p.m. Monday at Cafe 501, 650 United Drive Ste. 100 in Conway.

“This discussion is aimed at the urban young professionals who want to be involved in their community,” Warren said in a social media post. “Small business owners, professionals, millennial, and job seekers — we want you there.”

During the event, Castleberry will share his vision for the city and answer questions from the audience.

Garrett will answer questions and talk about his views as a minority business owner in Conway.

“Maybe you’re a frequent patron of these businesses, or maybe you just want to know more about the growth going on in our city,” Warren said. “Conway is a blossoming community; there’s something new consistently coming all the time but the [problem] with [this] is minorities and small business aren’t always aware of the awesome projects.

“We have to intentionally be involved in these conversations. We have an opportunity here to ask the Mayor questions, hear his vision and hear stories from other local business owners. Come out, learn, and be sure to enjoy the incredible menu of Cafè 501.”
