Homeless man arrested late Wednesday
A 49-year-old homeless man was arrested late Sunday night on suspicion of disorderly conduct after several residents had reported him as a suspicious person.
According to an incident report, an officer was alerted around 11:40 p.m. to a suspicious man wearing a white T-shirt and who had gray and a long beard who was trespassing at the Waffle House on Skyline Drive.
Officer Haley Hudson noted in her report that authorities had received several calls Sunday regarding this suspicious person.
"At this point, it should be noted that by this time, we had received several calls regarding the male whom we suspected to be Raymond Harris from previous, similar situations," Hudson wrote in her report. "Mr. Harris has been criminally trespassed from several establishments in the area and we had already responded to calls claiming that he was shoplifting from Citgo Gas Station and for harassing customers at Waffle House earlier in the evening."
After searching the nearby area, Harris was soon located outside of Wendy's.
When officer Hudson walked up to the 49-year-old suspect, he reportedly began yelling out obscenities.
"At this time, I noted that there were a few cars approximately 50 feet away in the Wendy's drive-through and that they all had their windows down," the incident report reads in part. "I also clearly observed a white female turn around in a startled state to see who was yelling."
According to the report, Harris continued yelling out profanity and was ultimately arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct "due to the use of his loud, profane language while ina public vicinity that he was currently sharing with other citizens."
Co-workers squabble outside local hotel
A Cutler Property Preservation & Landscape Services employee was reportedly attacked by a co-worker outside the La Quinta Inns & Suites on Monday.
According to an incident report, authorities were called out to the hotel just after 11:30 a.m. Monday after 39-year-old Erick Daniel Lee attacked a 33-year-old co-worker.
The responding officer was flagged down by Logan Cutler, who pointed officer in the direction Lee fled.
Cutler, owner of Cutler Property, said Lee "beat up" one of his other employees before fleeing toward the field south of Tractor Supply Company on Sanders Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the 33-year-old Greenbrier man who was attacked. While speaking with paramedics, the victim said Lee had been drinking alcohol and that the two began arguing before Lee began punching him in the face.
According to the report, the victim was ultimately taken by ambulance to Conway Regional Medical Center following the incident.
As paramedics treated the victim, authorities quickly began searching for the suspect.
Responding officers were unable to track down the suspect at the time the report was taken outside of La Quinta Inn, according to the report.
Woman arrested after throwing items in street
A Conway woman was arrested Monday evening on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
According to an incident report, authorities were investigating a dispute between two separate residents in the Brookside Drive trailer park when one of the parties began smashing items in the street while officers were speaking with the other individual several trailers away.
Responding officers went back over to 30-year-old Christina Lee Lucas' residence to tell her to stop being disruptive. However, according to the report, she continued smashing items in her yard and on the street.
"We stood at the edge of the property for a few minutes and listened as [Lucas] ... made loud/excessive noises and continue[d] to throw/break objects in her yard," the report reads in part. "Mrs. Lucas had so little regard for the public, that the items began to land in the street where vehicles were passing."
According tot he report, Lucas was ultimately arrested on scene and charged with disorderly conduct.
