Bell Urban Farm will host a farm fresh fall festival in Conway featuring family-friendly festivities, food and more.

"We invite you to join us for a relaxing and fun evening at the farm," owner Kim Doughty-McCannon said. "Walk through the gardens while enjoying drinks, yard games and dinner. Roast s'mores over the bonfire and listen to some ghost stories after dark."

Bell Urban Farm is a small, urban farm in Conway located along Tyler Street. Doughty-McCannon and her husband, Zack McCannon, own the farm together, where they grow vegetables, herbs and flowers.

The Bell B-Q event is the couple's version of a Bar B-Q.

Doughty-McCannon said she and her husband invite area residents to their urban farm for a night of family fun and for the opportunity to enjoy a farm-fresh meal.

"We would love to invite community members to visit our farm to enjoy a farm-to-table dinner, music and games," she said. "Our farm-to-table dinner will include ingredients from Rabbit Ridge Farm, Calvert enterprises, Bell Urban Farm and other local farms. Also, locally made desserts from Chickpea and Lemon. Folks will get a chance to walk around our garden, see the chickens, play yard games and after dinner, we will have a small bonfire and roast s'mores. People are also encouraged to wear their best Halloween costume, because we will have a contest with a prize basket full of local goodies for the winner."

The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 27 at Bell Urban Farm, located at 2001 Tyler St. in Conway.

Tickets to the farm-filled night are $20 for adults and $15 for children 13-17 years old. While children 12 years old and younger are admitted at no cost, the couple encourages families to also order their little ones' tickets so that organizers can get an accurate head count "so we can get an accurant head count to plan for dinner."

Those who plan to attend and would prefer a vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free dinner are asked to alert organizers via email at bellurbanfarm@gmail.com upon registering for the festival.
