The fifth annual Friday Night Cruisin' event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 17 in Hendrix Village.
The free event is open to all ages and highlights cars of every make, model, and era.
According to a news release, community participation in the event is at its highest.
“In years past, [there have been] 40-50 cars at each show on average. In March [there were] over 75 cars in participation and over 200 spectators at [the] event,” the new release stated.
Sponsors of this year’s event include Pro Auto, Arkansas Mopar Cruisers, Gold Creek Customs and Purple Cow.
A portion of the proceeds from meals purchased at Purple Cow between 6-8 p.m. will go to benefit The Bethlehem House.
The event will also feature food vendors and mascots from several local businesses including Croaker from Pro Auto, Urbie from Urban Air, Polly the Purple Cow, Bigfoot from Big O Tires and Ace and Otey from the Arkansas Travelers.
