"Then Jesus told them this parable: 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, REJOICE WITH ME; I HAVE FOUND MY LOST SHEEP. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." (Luke 15: 3-7)

How many of you know that we are either sheep or a goat when Jesus talks about sheep and goats in Matthew 25: 32-34 as follows: "All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world." But the scripture today paints a beautiful picture of God's love for you and me.

When we wander away from Him, like a good shepherd He cares about us and seeks out every lost sheep. Every lost sheep is priceless to God. I'm trying to let you know that every beloved child of God is priceless and His love never stops looking for us. He will pursue us until we return to Him. Now God needs someone to bring us back to Him when we stray away from Him and that someone is Jesus! Yes, brothers and sisters, we ALL have strayed away in some area of our life but God's love through Jesus came back and got us. He didn't leave us out there for the devil to destroy us. Listen brothers and sisters, God loves you. Please understand that and He wants you in Heaven with Him.

That's the reason why he sent Jesus into this world, to save us from our sins. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and He will save you if you let Him. We can never stray too far away from God's love that He won't find you and bring you back to Him and save you and make you one of His. Now the question is, do you want Jesus to save you? Are you willing to give up this worldly lifestyle of living in sin? Really, what's more important to you, going to Heaven or continue living in sin and going to hell? Brothers and sisters, Heaven and hell are real places! They are eternal when you die. So make up your mind which one you want to live in throughout eternity. To be honest with you, it's your call! You can make Jesus your Lord and Savior today.

Just ask Him to come into your heart and believe He died and was buried and got up out of the grave in three days. Believe He is the Son of God, believe He is back in Heaven sitting at the right hand of God the Father. Now if you just prayed this little prayer, you are saved! Now get into a Church that is teaching Jesus. And if you aren't baptized, get into a Church that believes in baptism and get baptized in Jesus' name.

God is love. God is waiting on us with open arms, waiting to forgive you of all your sins. We love because he first loved us.
