John Scherrey has been promoted to chief lending officer of Centennial Bank’s Conway region, according to Greg Sanson, Division President for Centennial Bank.

“John works extremely hard to provide his customers with great service,”Sanson said. “His excellent leadership skills along with his dedication to the community and Centennial Bank, for the past 10 years has earned him this position,” he added.

Scherrey is a lifelong resident of Faulkner County and a graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Scherrey received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a recent graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

As a dedicated community member, Scherrey serves as President of the St. Joseph School Board and is a member of the Conway Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Scherrey and wife Donna, as well as daughters Savannah, Lilah and son John Martin, call Conway home.
