Around 600 people attended the fifth annual Renewal Ranch Rally for Recovery. The event raised more than $70,000, of which $15,000 came from one donation during the event.

Renewal Ranch is a non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring broken lives through Christ, while providing the resources needed to lead productive lives free from drug and alcohol abuse.

“The Rally is designed to increase awareness about the devastating of drug and alcohol addiction while providing hope that freedom from addiction is possible,” Renewal Ranch Marketing Director Bryce McGhee said.

For the second consecutive year, Renewal Ranch partnered with Tacos 4 Life for the event, “raising 1,400 meals to feed those in need across the seas,” McGhee said. Andy’s Frozen Custard provided dessert for attendees.

Bryce said that without sponsors — which also included Arrow Plumbing, Conway Corporation, Kathy Linn, Car-Son Construction, Steve Landers Toyota, Cousins’ Office Furniture, Circle Z Ranch & Cattle Co, M&L Properties, Heritage Bible Church and Tipton Equipment Restaurant Supply — the event wouldn’t be possible.

Robert Lewis, creator of Men’s Fraternity and author of “Raising a Modern-Day Knight,” was the keynote speaker. Lewis is also the pastor-at-large for Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.

Phase I Supervisor Chase Moser shared his story “of how God has delivered him from a life of addiction and brought him to working within the ministry of Renewal Ranch and is currently pursuing a degree in Leadership in Ministry from Central Baptist College,” McGhee said.

Moser’s mom, Laurie Miholland, discussed the hope she now has for her son thanks to Renewal Ranch’s program.

“Graduates of the program and their families walked the stage and spoke of how God has forever changed their lives and for many of them reunited them with their families,” McGhee said.
