As I am writing this, Sandy has been in the hospital since last Monday evening. She is at Conway Regional. Her kidneys weren’t flushing like they should have been doing; she was dehydrated; there was fluid on her left lung along with her falling more and more. She has been falling a lot in the past year. We are still here. Hopefully she will go to home soon. I don’t want to go home till all the test they had to send off are back. Even though we had to move to different rooms 3 times I will say I am very pleased with their care and staff. It has changed very much since we last used this hospital 15 years ago! They have been exceptional in their care for Sandy and to me. I highly recommend this facility and staff. Those that know me well know I will speak my mind if I think we are being treated wrong! I’m very pleased with her care.
Darrell Bearden had to be taken to VA Hospital last weekend for the day but returned home and had a doctors appointment on Thursday. Bessie and Darrell need our prayers as well as Faye and Clark Hooten, Clark and Linda Stevenson, The Davidson family, who lost their Dad recently and Lacey Wilson. So many need prayers and I truly believe prayers are answered!
Remember school is out, slow down. When you're driving through town and especially on side rides because our precious students are out there playing and sometimes they get in the road so take you foot off the gas and be prepared to stop!
Thanks to all of you for coming and visiting while Sandy is in the hospital! Dusty and Tonya Burk came In Saturday and when they left Sandy said that man didn’t pray for me! I said you're on his prayer list! Which I thought that was cute so Sunday when Tonya text to see how she was doing I told her what she said. As busy as their Sunday was they had pulled in their driveway he backed up and turned toward Conway to pray with Sandy. Dusty and Tonya you don’t know how much that meant to her and me. We love you! Thank you to everyone that brought good bags of snacks, roll of quarters and the beautiful flowers too.
