Conway’s Cinemark Towne Centre and XD movie theater is welcoming the community back for another year of lower priced movies this summer.

Already weeks underway, the Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse, which provides families with kids out on summer break a cheaper way to come in and cool off from the hot days, features a variety of PG films for younger audiences.

The 10-week series began with a showing of, “Despicable Me 3,” on June 7 and, “Peter Rabbit,” on June 12. The discounted program will continue through, “Hotel Transylvania 3,” on August 7.

A representative from the theater previously told the Log Cabin Democrat, the staff can see anywhere between 600-800 people in one day because so many take advantage of the exclusive theatre program.

“It’s something for the kids to have something to do during the summertime,” the representative told the LCD. “It’s really enjoyable just because everyone is happy to just get out of the house and do something with the kids.”

Those interested in all 10 films have the ability to purchase a $5 punch card at the box office; it’s $1 per show.

Each movie starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

The following are the upcoming movie selections and dates:

• “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch,” on June 19.

• “How to Train Your Dragon,” on June 26.

• “Smallfoot,” on July 3.

• “Kung Fu Panda,” on July 10.

• “The Lego Movie,” on July 17.

• “Spongebob Squarepants Out of Water,” on July 24.

• “Sherlock Gnomes,” on July 31.
