On Saturday, Dec. 1, Nabholz named five new employee shareholders, Rob Dodd, Danny Kennedy, Hank Merkel, Marshall Nash, and Robert "Birdy" Smith. With the addition of these five individuals, Nabholz now has 92 shareholders.

Kennedy, Dodd, Smith, Nash, and Merkel were all selected by corporate leadership and approved by the Board of Directors to become new shareholders. At Saturday’s annual shareholders meeting, Board Chairman Emeritus Charles Nabholz officially announced the selection of these five new shareholders.

"It is an honor and privilege to be included as a shareholder with one of the strongest construction specialists in this region," noted Kennedy, Executive Vice President of Preconstruction Southwest Operations in the Tulsa office. "The diversity of Nabholz Construction Services has positioned this company to deal with the very volatile markets that we operate within and I am pleased to be a part of this ownership group." Kennedy has been with Nabholz since 2009.

"I am honored to work for a company that cares for its employees like Nabholz does, and to be named a shareholder is truly an honor and a blessing to me and my family," said Smith, Millshop Manager and Nabholz employee for over 15 years.

Merkel, a Business Information Modeling Specialist who has been with Nabholz for 22 years, and Nash, Vice President of Employee Services who joined the company in 2008, work in the Conway office. Dodd, a Senior Project Manager in the Rogers office, has been with Nabholz since 2007.
