A Conway woman says her vehicle may have been used for a joy ride.
The 20-year-old victim told police she discovered Tuesday morning her vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, not parked in the same location she left it in the previous night.
The victim said she knew her vehicle was taken when she discovered the seat moved all the way back, her gas tank — previously half full — on empty and a cosmetology kit, valued at $2,500, missing from the trunk.
The victim said the vehicle was parked around 6:30 p.m. Monday, and discovered it in its new location around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The victim said she lost her spare key about a month ago — somewhere between the parking lot and her apartment — and never found it.
Police observed no signs of forced entry into the vehicle, although the victim stated the doors were locked.
Officers advised the victim to have her original key replaced.
