The alley wall of Bates Furniture was recently vandalized, according to the owner of the longtime, downtown furniture store.
The owner says he discovered graffiti on the wall around 8:30 a.m. Monday while opening his store, located in the 900 block of Front Street. Police said a city dumpster also displayed graffiti.
The owner stated he was last at his business around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, and no graffiti was visible.
No suspects have been identified at this time, police said. Damage was estimated at $500 in the police report.
