Among the incidents recently reported by the Conway Police Department:

• Criminal mischief at the 3000 block of Pebble Beach Drive

A resident reported Thursday that a man who had been living with her kicked in the door to her apartment, grabbed some clothes and left. She told police she heard him knocking on the door, but she was in bed and did not want to get up, and that is when the man kicked in the door. Damage to the door was estimated at $300.

• Theft at the 3000 block of Pebble Beach Drive

A resident reported Thursday that, following a party at his residence the previous night, a gun he keeps under his couch was missing. He said he had no idea who was in his house or who may have taken the gun.

• Theft at the 2000 block of Hickory Street

A resident reported Thursday that a man who came to her residence to pressure wash the house apparently stole her purse. It was valued at $50.

• Breaking or entering at 1105 East Oak St.

A Conway woman reported Wednesday that someone broke out the front passenger window of her vehicle while it was parked in the back parking lot of TGI Friday’s and stole her purse.

• Theft at 1155 Skyline Dr.

A Greenbrier man reported Wednesday that, while his vehicle and trailer were parked at Walmart and he was mowing some surrounding lawns, someone stole his blower from his trailer. It was valued at $750.

• Motor vehicle theft at the 400 block of Oliver Street

Police responded to a call about a black moped. A friend of the owner of the vehicle reported his friend was out of town, but he had seen the moped in a different part of town from his friend’s residence and believed it had been stolen. The owner talked to the police over the phone and reported it stolen.
