Ginny Wiedower of Conway and Chad Hensley of Little Rock have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Fred and Joy Wiedower of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Becky Hendrickson, and Wendell and Anna Ruth Kennedy.
She is a graduate of Conway High School and the University of Central Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations.
She was named to the 2009 list of "20 In Their 20’s: The New Influentials" by Arkansas Business, and named to the "Women to Watch" list in 2011 by Soirée magazine.
She is currently employed as a media relations specialist in the public relations department of Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The prospective groom is the son of Dennis and Mary Hensley of Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Clifford and Ora Mae Hensley and the late John and Helen Spates.
He is a graduate of Wylie High School (Wylie, Texas) and Henderson State University, with a Bachelor of Science in organizational management.
He is currently employed as a quality engineer at Berry Plastics in Hot Springs.
The wedding is set to take place at 11 a.m. May 26 at Central Baptist Church, followed by a lunch for family at the church.
A reception for friends and family will be held that evening at the Events Center at Centennial Valley Country Club.
