Mrs. Ila Wheat was hostess to the SaturdayBridge Club Saturday afternoon at her home on Center Street. The interior was decorated with a variety of spring flowers and games of bridge were played at five tables. Mrs. Alf Hamberg won the club prize and Mrs. H.B. Ingram the guest prize for high score. Mrs. H.B. Barker of Pontiac, Mich., a special guest was presented a gift. A dainty salad course with a dessert was served.

The Conway Chamber of Commerce will receive two community progress signs from the state Chamber of Commerce for its achievements in community development.

The signs will be presented at a quarterly membership meeting of the C. of C. at 7:30 o’clock tonight at the Town House Restaurant.

Kenneth Pat Wilson of Jacksonville, president of the state C. of C., will make the presentation.

Conway C. of C. members will be asked to vote on a proposal to increase its minimum dues.

Sharon K. Jones recently joined Ralty World — Dick Longing Real Estate Inc., 515 Oak St., as a sales associate.

Mrs. Jones moved to Conway in 1977.

She atteneded Glendale Community College in Glendale, Ariz., and is a graduate of the Commercial School of Real Estate.

Mrs. Jones and her husband, Lee, have four children, Clint, Sarah, Christi and Monte.

She is a daughter of Glenn and Ruth Cunningham of Conway.

Sonic managers Susan Shaw of Greenbrier and Eric Kerlen of Vilonia presented Boys and Girls Club Bob Nabholz Unit director Bill Lampe with a check totalling over $1,000 during the restaurant’s recent French fry promotion. The stores donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of French fries from April 4. Stores from Conway, Greenbrier and Vilonia participated in the promotion.
