Honoring Mrs. S.E. Anderson of Kerrville, Texas, Mrs. Frank E. Robins Jr., entertained a few guests at a luncheon bridge Friday at her home on Center Street. A dainty menu in courses was served and games were played during the afternoon with Mrs. H.L. Mcalister winning the prize for high score. Mrs. Anderson was given a pretty souvenir.
An automobile stolen in Conway yesterday was found abandoned in Kirkwood, a suburb of St. Louis, Mo., last night, city police said today.
The machine was a 1957 Chevrolet owned by David Rogers.
Bill Adkisson has been named president of the Conway Civic Orchestra Board of Advisers.
Re-elected to three-year terms on the board at a recent meeting were Scott Moore, Mike Mottler, Louis Stell, Jim Williamson and Jill Winter.
Other officers elected at the meeting for one-year terms were Ouida Wright as vice president and Ralph Behrens as secretary.

Billy Fryar of Vilonia was the winner of a 1963 Chevrolet truck in a drawing July 11 at Leroy’s Restaurant in Vilonia. The drawing was a fund-raising activity held during the last six months to benefit Todd Perna, who was paralyzed Jan. 11 in a dirt bike accident. According to Janet Perna, 996 tickets were sold.
