Relatives in Conway have received the news that Raymond Donaghey of Vernon, Texas, has recently been elected a representative to the legislature from Wilbarger County, Texas. Mr. Donaghey is a son of the late C.C. Donaghey, formerly of Conway, and a nephew of George W. Donaghey of Little Rock. He received his early education in the Conway public school.

Mrs. Guyla Moore last night became acting postmistress at Vilonia.

Mrs. Moore succeeds her father-in-law, Raymond Moore, who had reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.

Mrs. Robert Saye becomes clerk of the Vilonia office, succeeding Mrs. Moore in this capacity.

Mrs. Saye had been a substitute clerk and a successor for her must be appointed.

Mrs. Moore is the wife of Rogers C. Moore, vice president and cashier of the First State Bank at Conway. The couple resides at Vilonia. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Lem Scott.

Mark Guffey, son of Dr. and Mrs. Loren Guffey of Conway, has returned to Duke University in Durham, N.C., where he is an engineering student. Mr. Guffey also begins his junior year as a cadet sergeant major of the Army Cadets at Duke.

Jazzercise instructors Paige Revis and Tiffany Dunaway and four of their students gathered recently for the Jazzercise Fitness Series convention in New Orleans.

During the two-day events, Revis and Dunaway served as special assistants to Judi Sheppard Missett, Jazzercise founder and CEO. Revis was a presenter during the Cardio-Quick Funk Aerobic Class.
