David Bostic and his wife Pat Bostic were recently elected the Conway Senior Center King and Queen for the Faulkner County Fair Parade.

They rode in the parade on Sept. 17, in an antique Cadillac convertible driven by Wallace Brown.

The Bostics are new members at the center. They quickly made friends and participate in many of the activities.

David is an integral part of the gospel singing group. He has sung with the Gospel Echoes, Randy Travis, Kathy Matea, and Suzie Luchsinger (Reba McEntire’s sister). He also sang in Nashville.

David enjoys bowling, playing pool, collecting antique guns and knives and gardening.

Pat Bostic also enjoys gardening. Before moving to Arkansas from Texas she took an early retirement. She worked at Falcon Jet. Now she enjoys her church activities, being with her family and friends, going fishing and camping. She likes to shop, and of course being with her grandchildren. Pat now works part time for the Senior Center delivering Meals on Wheels and transporting senior clients to the center each day.

The Bostics expressed a genuine appreciation for the Conway Wellness and Activity Center, which offers fun, fellowship, nutritious meals, dances and many other benefits for seniors.

They are looking forward to the move to the new Conway Senior Wellness & Activity Center (formerly the Agora Special Event Center).
