Tracy and Jeannie Moore of Conway have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Whitney Leigh Moore, to Matthew James Malham of Cabot.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frances Evans and the late Carroll B. Evans of Clinton and the late Doyne and Peggy Moore, also of Clinton.
Moore graduated from Conway High School in 2004. She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she received a bachelor of science in education in 2008 and a master of arts in teaching in 2009. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is employed as a third-grade teacher at Stagecoach Elementary School in Cabot.
The prospective groom is the son of Michael and Alexis Malham of Cabot. He is the grandson of Gregory Menke and the late Agnes Menke of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Michael and Betty Malham of Cabot. He graduated from Cabot High School in 2001 and Arkansas State University in 2006 with a bachelor of science in education in physical education. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He is employed at Cabot Junior High North where he teaches health and is an assistant football and track coach.
The wedding is set to take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 18 at Second Baptist Church in Conway, with the Rev. Mark Dance officiating. A reception will follow at Agora Conference Center in Conway.
