Kristen Benge and Chris Williams, both of Heber Springs, were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m. April 23, 2011, at Woolly Hollow State Park officiated by Bill Hayes of Conway.

The bride is the daughter of Kelly Hayes and step-daughter of Kelly Hayes of Heber Springs and daughter of Hollen Benge of California. She is the granddaughter of Edith White and the late James White, and Maryann Benge and the late Richard Benge.

The groom is the son of Roger Williams and step-son of Debbie Williams of Conway, and son of Frances Cardin and step-son of David Cardin of Greenbrier. He is the grandson of the late Odis and Rachel Guthrie of Searcy and the late Herbert and Gladys Williams of Conway.

The bride was escorted by her stepfather, Kelly Hayes, and wore a beautiful white, strapless, beaded dress with a flowing train.

The couple was married under a flowered covered arch. Piano music was played during the wedding.

Serving as maid of honor was Holley White, and serving as bridesmaid was Lindsey Hartness, sisters of the bride, both of Heber Springs. They wore beautiful long, dark purple dresses and each carried a bouquet of white and purple lilies.

The mothers wore beautiful flower pattern dresses.

Serving as flower girls were Laini Hartness of Heber Springs and Alivia Kelley of Sheridan.

Serving as best man was Cole White and groomsman was Neil Hartness, both of Heber Springs.

The reception took place at Woolly Hollow State Park. The decorations included white table cloths under the bride and groom’s cake, which was a 3-tier lemon cake with white icing. Also decorating the table were the bride and groom’s toasting glasses and punch bowl.

The groom had a themed cake of "The Simpsons," which had colorful icing. Both of the cakes were made by Amanda Burrough.

Presiding at the bride’s book was Keaton Kelley of Sheridan.

The couple’s wedding trip destination was to Arlington, Texas.
