Miss Allison Franks of Conway and Mr. William Kyle Land of Fayetteville, Ark., have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Michael and Mrs. Marilee Franks of Conway. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hulan Cupp and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Franks, all of Paragould, Ark.
She is a 2007 graduate of Conway High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Sam M. Walton College of Business.
She is currently employed as a Bank Examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (Mo.).
The prospective groom is the son of retired Lt. Col. William H. Land III and Mrs. Paula Land of Springdale, Ark. He is the grandson of Mrs. Peggy Land and the late Mr. William H. Land Jr. of North Little Rock, Ark., Mr. Paul Bell of Sherwood, Ark., and Ms. Donna Bell, also of Sherwood.
He is a 2006 graduate of Springdale High School and a 2013 graduate of John Brown University.
He is currently employed as a Customer Service Representative for Bank of the Ozarks.
The wedding is set to take place at 3 p.m. Jan. 11, 2014, at Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway.
The reception will follow at The Old Gin.
