The following persons made first appearance at Faulkner County Circuit Court on Friday and Monday:

• Ricky Ray Ruby, 22, 189 Grand Trunk Road, Conway, according to a Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office jail intake report. Rape. Bond was set at $100,000. Pretrial was set for Oct. 12. Public defender Lynn Plemmons was appointed.

• Kenneth L. Grand, 25, 318 Mitchell St., Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Motion to impose suspended imposition of sentence stemming from 2006 misdemeanor hot check conviction. Bond was set at $250 to go toward restitution. The motion will be heard on Aug. 26. Public defender Karen Walker-Knight was appointed.

• Scotty Lynn Ables, 22, 1807 Torreyson St., Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Possession of a controlled substance, failure to register habitation as a sex offender. Bond was denied. Pretrial was set for Oct. 22. Public defender Stephen Ralph was appointed.

• Jessica Joan Adams, 27, 156 Leslie Lane, Clinton, according to a FCSO jail intake report, 196 Lazy Lane, Clinton, according to Adams’ statements in court. Two counts possession of a controlled substance; one felony, one misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,500. Pretrial on was set for Nov. 12. A public defender was appointed.

• Alicia Marie Nordengreen, 27, 283 Caney Valley Road, Plumerville, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Probation revocation stemming from 2007 drug paraphernalia conviction. Bond was denied. Probation revocation hearing was set for Sept. 23. A public defender was appointed.

• Ronald Arthur McDonald, 33, 143 Old Texas Road, Quitman, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Class-Y felony possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by certain persons, improper use of vehicle registration, no driver’s license, no insurance, operation of a vehicle without registration. Bond was set at $25,000. Pretrial was set for Oct. 22. Public defender B. Keith Faulkner was appointed.

• Audie Ray Taylor, 43, 117 Kelly St., Beebe, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Possession of a firearm by certain persons. Bond was set at $10,000. Pretrial was set for Oct. 22. Public defender Danny Rasmussen was appointed.
