Johnny Wayne Teague
Brother Johnny Wayne Teague, 65, of Conway, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Blevins, on Dec. 21, 1943, to Christine and Neal Teague.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Teague; two sons, Jonathan Teague (Louisa) of North Little Rock and Jeffery Teague (Margo) of Corning, N.Y.; one daughter, Rebekah Teague of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one granddaughter, Hazel Isabella Teague Gustina of Corning, N.Y.; two brothers, Randy Teague (Claudine) of Hope and Time Maroon of Emmett; one uncle, Phillip Hogan (Melba) of Hope; one aunt, Betty Kendrick of Hope; and several nieces and nephews.
Brother Teague was an ordained Baptist minister. He graduated from Central Baptist College and Andersonville Baptist Seminary.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, El Paso, with Brother John Powers and Jim Sayers officiating. Arrangements by Bishop Griffin Funeral Home of Greenbrier.
