VILONIA — Booths are still available for the Fall Business Expo set for  1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Vilonia Elementary School Cafeteria.

The event is sponsored by the Vilonia Area Chamber of Commerce. Laura McNeel, executive director, said several booths have been sold but some are still available for the event.

"We want people to put it on their calendar. This will be fun, and informational for everyone — every age," McNeel said.

The cost is $25 for chamber members and $50 for non-chamber members with $5 additional for anyone needing electricity. For more information, go to or call McNeel at 499-1312.

The public is encouraged to attend the event where there will be information concerning businesses and organizations. There will also be some door prizes and booth giveaways for attendees, McNeel said. The chamber will also be giving away a gift certificate for $250.

The chamber also has a new logo. The new logo, a black skyline bannering the name Vilonia Area Chamber with a large, red cursive V on a black background, will soon be seen in many locations, McNeel said, including at sanctioned events as well as on merchandise.

"I’m excited to have the new logo," she said. "It is something that identifies Vilonia. I think you will be seeing it a lot, and you will be seeing it on many things."

The design is by Chad Lamberth of Chad-Works.
