Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:


1. Robbery at 1400 block of Hartje Lane. A man in his early 20s reported that he went outside at about 2:30 Wednesday morning after hearing broken glass to find two suspects described as black males, both about 6 feet tall with muscular builds, attempting to pull his car audio speakers out of his vehicle’s broken rear window. The victim stated that the next thing he remembered was waking up on the ground after he had apparently been knocked unconscious by a blow to the face.

2. Residential burglary at 2500 block of Blaney Hill Road. Victim reported that at some point between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday someone broke into a residence by smashing the glass from a rear door and stole a Sanyo LCD TV, a Horton EXP crossbow with a Tasco telescopic sight, $500 in cash, two candle holders and six wrapped Christmas present boxes. The victim said when interviewed by police that he didn’t know what was in the boxes; it was supposed to be a surprise.

3. Breaking or entering at 600 Fifth Avenue (Fifth Avenue Park). Victim reported that at about 2:30 on Wednesday, as she was exercising her dog, someone stole her purse from her vehicle.

4. Criminal mischief at 10 block of Timothy Lane. Victim reported that at some point between 6:50 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday someone arranged a pair of lawn ornament reindeer in what is described in the report as “an inappropriate position.”
