True Holiness Saints Center will host its annual Spring College Day on Sunday at 11 a.m.

The event will be sponsored by Speaker of the House Robbie Wills and Sen. Gilbert Baker.

Pastor E.C. Maltiba will deliver a message, which will be followed by a dinner from the True Holiness Mother’s Board.

Wills and Baker will be available to speak with students at the dinner.
The service will be conducted by the Interdenominational Christian Council, a True Holiness Saints Center college campus organization.

UCA’s Judah Coral Choir will provide music service.

Students Kiera Ester and Catherine Miller will give testimonies of their college lives as Christians.

During the service, a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student that, according to Maltiba, “exhibits good citizenship and character on campus.”

“We are so excited to be sponsoring another College Day event. It’s so wonderful to see students excited about their Christianity and their education,” Maltiba said.

The True Holiness Community Partnership Scholarship will be co-sponsored by Tim Ester Properties and Larry Billings of the Conway Roller Rink.

The True Holiness Saints Center also hosts a Fall College Day welcoming freshmen students. A service is held for students along with an expo to give incoming students the opportunity to meet city officials.

Maltiba said the event brings the city together to welcome the students and introduce them to the city. Maltiba said local banks provide food for the event. Mayor Tab Townsell, and all three presidents from local colleges and the university will be in attendance.
