Cooking the homemade noodles is the first step in the three-day process of preparing Friday’s box lunches. The spaghetti lunches are served from the Parish Hall as part of the St. Joseph School Bazaar, the school’s largest fundraiser. Marilyn Dail, central committee chairperson of the Bazaar’s kitchen, said more than 300 pounds of spaghetti will be cooked, and as of Wednesday night, 1,100 lunch orders had been placed. Dail said the school’s goal is to reach 1,600 orders for Friday’s lunch, and to serve between 900 and 1,000 people at the family-style dinner Friday night.
