SEARCY — The Hendrix College women finished sixth and the men 10th Monday and Tuesday at the Bison Fall Golf Classic at The Course at River Oaks.


The Hendrix women combined for a 392 on Monday and then posted a 387 in the final round on Tuesday.
The Warrior men tallied 323 strokes in the first round before a 324 round on Tuesday.


Sophomore Brie Seebringer paced the women’s team and finished 33rd overall with a 189.  She improved her first-round score of 99 by five strokes in the second round to finish 47 shots over par. 
First-year Elizabeth Pursley, sophomore Alex Weaver, senior Emily Mitchell and first year Lizzy Consenza ranked 36th, 37th, 38th and 39th, respectively, to round out the Warriors’ top five.


Sophomore Micah Graf led the men’s team and was 14 shots above par with a 156 to finish 25th overall. Graf fell by six strokes in the second round after posting a 75 in the opening round. Junior Dylon Veron tied for 34th overall with a 161, while first-year Travis Weeks combined for a 171 to finish 51st.


Sophomore Michael Cathey and first year Dylan Pelletier tied for 52nd place at 172 strokes.
Cathey improved his first round score of 94 by 16 strokes to turn in a 78 in the final round.


The men will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to Tunica, Miss. for the opening round of the Rhodes Fall Collegiate Classic. 
The women will pick things back up on Monday, Oct. 11 at the SCAC Fall Preview Tournament in Austin, Texas.
