Amanda Adams of Sheridan and Bryson Tharp of Floral were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at The Junior League of Little Rock.
The single-ring ceremony was officiated by Shayne Baker of Floral.
The bride is the daughter of Keith and Shari Adams of Sheridan. She is the granddaughter of Janie Nutt Kendrick of Sheridan and the late Earl Nutt of Pine Bluff.
The groom is the son of Freddie Tharp and the late Deanna Tharp. He is the grandson of Roberta and Lucious Bray of Mount Pleasant and Bobbie and the late Flatus Tharp of Floral.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory colored satin strapless dress made by Casablanca. The dress featured a fitted bodice of metallic embroidery accented with embellishment of crystals, rocals, rhinestones and bugle beads. The back of the bodice dipped into a V, and was accented by the same embroidery and embellishments. The natural waistline was accented with a band of embroidery and beadwork. The trumpet skirt was embellished with the same embroidery and bead work. The back of the skirt featured beaded buttons ending at the embellishment of the chapel length train.
The wedding venue was adorned with gorgeous displays of hydrangeas, roses, lilies, calla lilies and many other flowers. Drew Vanlandingham of the Vanlandingham Design Studio in Baltimore, Md., served as the wedding planner.
Vandlandingham sang ‘When God Made You’ during the lighting of the unity candle.
Serving as the bride’s maid of honor was Haley McVicker of North Little Rock. She wore a satin, turquoise tee length dress accented with an ivory sash made by Impression. Bridesmaids included Caroline Bell of Sheridan, Mallory Williamson of Sheridan, Brittany Dixon of Springdale, Brittany Henderson of Prattsville and Lauren Hale of Sheridan.

Sarah Beth Irons of Sheridan served as a junior bridesmaid.
Evan Bray of Mount Pleasant served as the ringbearer.
Kylie Reed and Lauren Irons, both of Sheridan, served as flower girls.
Keagan Tharp and Brayden Tharp, both of Floral, served as the groom’s best men. Groomsmen were Jarod Williams of Floral, Jason Lamons of Floral, Andrew Muse of Pleasant Plains, Austin Muse of Pleasant Plains and Robby Coppens of Floral.
Jon Richardson of Shreveport, La., Nathan Tharp of Floral and Derek Tharp of Floral served as ushers.
The mother of the bride wore a champagne, floor length Adrianna Papell Bolero Jacket dress.
A reception was held at The Junior League of Little Rock. Caterers from Simply the Best served guests at the reception.
Vanessa Tharp presided over the bride’s book.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau, Bahamas, and now reside at their home in Conway.
