Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

1. Criminal mischief at 1600 block of Middle Road. Victim reported Monday that someone set her scarecrow on fire. The fire destroyed the scarecrow and caused damage to the building’s siding. The victim was able to put out the fire.

2. Fraudulent use of a credit card at 620 Chestnut St. (Centennial Bank). Victim reported Wednesday that several unauthorized charges were made to his father’s debit card. The victim stated that he used the card to make a one-time payment, but the company began making weekly withdrawals from the account.

3. Public intoxication at 130 block of Conway Boulevard. Officers responded to a call of a suspect breaking windows at a residence. The suspect was found walking away from the area. Officers noticed a strong odor of intoxicants on the man. When officers asked where he was coming from, the suspect said "pizza" and "Chicago." After he was taken into custody, the suspect told officers people at the residence were throwing windows at him. The complainant reported that the suspect broke a window at the residence he was asked to leave.
