From now until Dec. 27, all First Security Bank locations will be collecting items for Renewal Ranch.
Each year, First Security Bank employees choose a non-profit organization as their giving focus for the holidays. Employees purchase and give items the organization may need.
This year, the focus of their giving will be Renewal Ranch, and the employees are inviting the community to become a part of this worthwhile event for a needy cause.
Renewal Ranch is a faith based program for men with drug and alcohol addiction. It is one of only three faith based programs of this type in the state.
Renewal Ranch is located just outside Conway on 94 acres and will open the first of next year. This ministry includes Bible study, education, vocational and life changing training as well as community work projects. The first bunkhouse has been completed and will house six men.
One of the main needs for Renewal Ranch is everyday items: bedding, towels, personal items, dishes, pots and pans, paper products, Bibles, journals, pens and paper just to mention a few things.
Each First Security Bank in Faulkner will have a "Giving Tree" in their lobby where the public can choose a card with an item on it. Gifts are to be returned to the tree by Dec. 27.
The employees ask that the public join them in this special community outreach project.
