Pastor LaNita brought an inspiring message last Sunday and as always filled our hearts and encouraged us to try harder. We don’t have a large congregation, but we have a loving spirit. We praise God for what He has done and what He is going to do in the future.

Christmas is almost here and I’m never ready for it. We have alawys enjoyed driving around to other places to view the beautiful decorations. I enjoy seeing the court houses in their beautiful outlined lights; they seem so special.

Last Tuesday we drove up to Flippin to visit Weldon and Reva Stevenson. We had a short visit, then started back home. We delivered the "prayer shawls" our church had for them.

Our Red Hat Ladies met for our Christmas dinner Thursday at Naylor Fellowship Hall. We had a good attendance and enjoyed it.

We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please remember whose birthday we are celebrating.

It is only one week away till Old Santa will be visiting all of the children, so are you checking your list to see if you have been naughty or nice. I hope that each of you have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy being with your family and friends, but don’t forget the real reason in Christmas that Christ was born.

We all take life for granted and that everything will always be the same and then bam something happens and we realize that life is a meaningful thing and in a flash it can be taken away before we know it. Please keep BF Glover in your prayers, he had a 5 bypass this past Tuesday. He is improving and looks like he will be around for awhile longer. Get well soon BF.

Landon James Dowdy celebrated his third birhtday at Playworld in Conway with his friends and cousins. He had a cake that was the Lighting McQueen car and of course he had to eat the wheels and the windows. Everyone had a great time and lots of fun. Landon was so excited, they are so cute at that age. I can’t wait till next Saturday for those big blue eyes to shine cause Santa came to visit.

Please keep the following in your prayers Betty Griffith, Venice Joyner, Frankdee Battles, and anyone else in the community that is sick or has been sick or who has lost a loved one. Holidays are hard for the elderly and for those that are grieving.

Congratulations to Sherry and Jim Holland and Chris (Boso) and Lynn Acre on the new arrival of their grandson Luke Allan Acre. Luke is the son of Josh and Summer Acre. Luke has 2 older sisters that are very proud of their brother, they told me he was big. He weighed around 10 lbs. He is carrying a great name after his great-grandfather Luke Allan May and his grandfather Boso. He has some big shoes to fill. Congratualtions and enjoy they grow up so fast.

Please send news to holtb42@yahoo.com or call 679-3299 I know that during the holiday you will have visitors and parties you are going to so share with us.
