Three Farris Road apartments were burglarized and two others were damaged after a string of break-ins last week.
The first victim reported that sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, the front door of his residence had been forced open and several items were missing. A computer, a 32-inch Vizio television, a 42-inch Vizio television, a Sony PlayStation 3 and an XBox 360 were reported stolen.
Officers noted in the report that two other apartments in the building were broken into.
Another victim from the same building reported that a Dell laptop computer and an Insignia 37-inch flatscreen television were missing from his residence. The frame of the front door of the residence had been broken.
A report for the third burglary was not available.
A victim living in another building reported that around 6:20 a.m. Friday someone kicked in the front door of his apartment. The victim said when he looked out the door, no one was there. The victim told officers that several electronic items had recently been delivered to the residence. He believed the suspect may have been aware of the numerous deliveries.
Earlier in the week, a fifth resident reported that someone had kicked in the front door of his residence. The victim said he was out of town and was notified by a neighbor that his door was standing open. Officers noted that there was major damage to the door frame, door and locks, but were unsure if the suspect entered the residence. Officers secured the residence before leaving.
