Carl Stuart Middle School defeated Morrilton in two games Wednesday.

The Kittens on the A game 33-32 in overtime. Leading scorers for Carl Stuart were Clay Bradshaw with 10 points, going eight of 10 from the free-throw line. Other scorers were: Breylin Smith eight; Collin Cahill, six; Trey Kellybrew and Prentice Mullins, four. Cole Tollett added a free throw. Greyson Pinkett, Jakolby Jones, and Blaine Booher contributed defensively, according to coach Todd Kendrick. Carl Stuart won the B game, 17-16. Leading scorers for Carl Stuart were Tanner Thone seven;  Austin Norriss, five; Trelin Moore and Jon Janota, two. Matthew Sweere added a free throw. Hayden Browers, Evan Ligon, and Damontay Allen contributed defensively.


Vilonia’s seventh-grade girls defeated Bob Courtway Middle School in two games Wednesday.

Vilonia won the A game, 30-7. Jessica Brandon and Morgan Gray scored 8 points each. Sarah Brantley added six points, three steals, and two assists. Madison Daves scored two points, and added three rebounds, and two steals. Averi Ratliff, Cassidy Leach, and Kathleen Hill scored two points each.

Vilonia won the B game, 25-6

Kylie Balentine scored six points.  Michelle Dorsett added four points, had two rebounds and three steals. Allie Skouras scored four points with two steals.  Ashlynn Morton, Alexis Hightower, Lacey McCasland, and MacKenzie Reeves scored two points each. Faith Burroughs, Kelsey McKissack, and Mattison Rhoades scored one point.


Bob Courtway came from behind to defeat the Vilonia seveth-grade boys in double overtime, 53-45. 

The Eagles led 28-15 at the half but BCMS outscored them, 13-3, in the third quarter, leading to a back-and-forth forth quarter. 

Paladino, on the way to 16 points, hit five 3-pointers. Josh Greer, on drives and free throws, added 11 points. Also scoring for the Eagles were Austin Newell, eight; Blaine Norman, five;  Bradley Taylor three; 

and Ben Payne, two.

Vilonia won the B game 21-19 to go to 8-3.

Vilonia teams host Greenbrier on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.
