A Little Rock woman led Conway police on a chase on Dave Ward Drive and Interstate 40 on Tuesday.
Police responded to Rock Creek Apartment Complex on Monroe Street at 8:15 a.m., where the caller said that Porsha Thompson, 19, had forced her way into his apartment and engaged him in a physical altercation.
According to a Conway Police Department release, police attempted to talk to Thompson and she fled the area in an SUV.
"Officers pursued the vehicle through town, hitting speeds of 80 miles-per-hour. At Dave Ward Drive, officers witnessed the SUV rear-end another vehicle and continue on," the release stated.
According to the release, officers clocked speeds at 100 miles-per-hour when the chase entered I-40 toward Little Rock.
Arkansas State Police deployed spikes, bringing Thompson’s vehicle to a stop at mile marker 145 in Pulaski County.
Thompson faces felony charges of fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident, violation of a protection order, domestic battery, attempted robbery and other misdemeanor charges.
