Among reports released by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Department:1. All other offenses, 500 block of Lower Ridge Road, Conway. A man contacted a deputy in reference to receiving calls from his wife and an unknown male. The victim stated that his wife has called him in the middle of having sexual relations with another man to advise him "how much better the unknown male was than him." The victim stated that the unknown male has also called him several times and made some offensive remarks. The victim was advised on the warrant process. No further action was taken.2. Trespass of real property, 40 block of Rocky Top Road, Mayflower. Deputies were called to the address by the homeowner who was upset because his brother had come to his home without permission. The victim stated that he and his girlfriend were sleeping naked when his brother came into their home and pulled the blankets off of them. He also advised that his brother had just been released from prison and that he is not welcome at their home. 3. Aggravated assault, 3100 block of Blaney Hill Road, Conway. Deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. When they arrived they saw a man run into the woods. The deputies made contact with a woman at the home who advised that she had come to the residence to collect some personal belongings because she had been dating the suspect but had recently broken up with him. The victim advised that when she got her things and tried to leave that he pulled her back inside the home and began beating her about the face and head. Deputies observed that the woman had large amounts of swelling on her face and areas of her head and that one eye was swollen completely shut. The victim also advised that the suspect had hit her repeatedly in the chest, neck and arms with a metal baseball bat. She was transported by MEMS to Conway Regional Medical Center to be treated. Deputies attempted to locate the suspect but were unable to find him. A short time later officers went back to the residence and found the suspect and a friend attempting to run out the back door of the residence. The suspect was arrested and cited with felony domestic battery and a hold was placed on both men.4. Intimidation, 100 block of Highway 365, Conway. Deputies made contact with a woman who advised that while she was visiting an inmate from Conway who is in prison at the Varner Unit in Grady, she was approached by a woman who asked her to smuggle a package into the prison. The woman told deputies that she had been afraid to try to take the package inside the prison, so she took it home and flushed it down the toilet. The woman advised that since that time, she has been receiving calls from an unknown cell phone and the caller is leaving messages stating "stop playing games with my dope." The woman advised that threats have also been made against the inmate she visited at the prison. Officials at the prison have been contacted and the investigation is ongoing.5. Public intoxication, Lollie Road, Mayflower. Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to an intoxicated person. Deputies were able to find the listed vehicle and parked on the side of the highway. When they attempted to make contact with the driver, they observed that she was "in the driver’s seat, passed out." When the deputies were able to wake the woman up, she had watery eyes and smelled of intoxicants. The woman had a difficult time standing and had to use the side of her vehicle to help her stand. The woman was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center.6. Intimidation, 10 block of Horseshoe Lane, Greenbrier. Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a domestic disturbance. When they made contact with the man that called, he advised that his sister was being beaten by her boyfriend. When officers made contact with the man’s sister, she advised that nothing was wrong and that her brother has done this before when he is drinking. Officers noted that all parties involved in this incident had been drinking. No further action was taken.7. Simple assault, 250 block of Carroll Road, Conway. Deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. They made contact with a woman who stated that her husband had choked her and broken her finger. She advised that deputies had come to the home following the assault and had asked her husband to leave, but when they left, her husband had come back to the home. The couple’s daughter was in the home during the altercation and witnessed the event. Due to having a witness statement, and the victim’s finger was obviously injured, the suspect was arrested for domestic battery in the third degree and transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center.
