Tom J. Siebenmorgen will join Hendrix College on June 6 as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

As EVP/CFO, Siebenmorgen will be a member of the college’s senior staff and provide leadership in the business and financial areas.

His areas of oversight will include the physical plant of the college, special building projects, real estate and investment activities, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial planning.

He will report directly to the president of the college and work closely with the finance and investment committees of the Board of Trustees.

"I am pleased to welcome Tom Siebenmorgen to the senior leadership team at Hendrix," said President J. Timothy Cloyd. "His depth of experience, ability to manage change, and expertise in financial reporting and planning will be valuable additions to the college. I look forward to working with Tom as we develop and implement a new strategic plan for Hendrix."

Siebenmorgen comes to Hendrix from Leisure Arts, Inc., in Little Rock, where he spent nearly 20 years in leadership roles including chief financial officer and chief operating officer of the company. He spent three years on the senior audit staff at Ernst & Whinney in Little Rock before joining the Leisure Arts team in 1981.

A native of Conway, Siebenmorgen is a 1976 graduate of Hendrix where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business. He was awarded the Mosley Economics Prize, was a member of the swim team and played water polo while at Hendrix. Siebenmorgen earned a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting from Tulane University in 1978.

"Hendrix College has been such an influential part of my life dating back to the days of Coach Bob Courtway and his Hendrix AquaKids that it is a true joy to be given this opportunity." Siebenmorgen said.  "I feel both honored and challenged to be able to join Hendrix at this point in its history and look forward to working with Dr. Cloyd, the management team, the trustees and others at Hendrix."
