EcoFest will host a workday and volunteer sign-up/assignment session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Independent Living Services in downtown Conway at 1105 Deer St., suite No. 9 (corner of Deer and Chestnut streets). Drop-ins are welcome, and a light lunch will be provided.

Volunteers are still needed for the workday and/or for the day of the event, and they are invited to select an area of interest they would like to be part of at the event, and/or help plan and build, exhibits and activities that this year’s event will feature.

EcoFest will be held Sept. 10 at Laurel Park, and is an interactive educational event for people of all ages and interests. Participants can enjoy a wide range of activities while exploring all sides of environmental issues and the interconnections they have with each other and our lives.

To sign up as a volunteer, sponsor or exhibitor, or for a more specific list of needs and opportunities, go to the workday Saturday or visit or call Debbie Plopper at 472-0901.
