Conway golfers dominated play Monday at The Greens at Nutter’s Chapel in what almost amounted to intrasquad matches for Wampus Cat teams.

The Conway boys A team defeated Conway White 154-158 with Central Arkansas Christian third at 161 and Conway Blue at 185.

The Conway girls A team took a 133-152 victory over Conway White with two golfers from Mount St. Mary participating in the girls division.

Parker Rice was medalist for the CHS varsity with a 36, followed by Tim Netherton, 38; Austin Smith, 39;, Tyler Pinney, 41; and Chase Netherton 44.

Summar Roachell easily took medalist honors with the girls with a 35, followed by Tristan Jenkins of the A team at 44 and Allison Ellen for Conway White, also at 44.

Scores for the White team boys were: Tanner Bezet, 37; Blake Darnell and Carson Roberts, 39; Josh Weaver, 44; and Mason McAlexander 44. Scores for Conway Blue were: Austin Tate, 39,; J.P. Wade, 48; and Taylor Bacon and Luke Baker, 49.

Rounding out the scoring for the Conway A team girls were: Brooke Lea, 48; Morgan Clark, 50; and Bryce Wolfe, 52. Other scores for Conway Whtie were: Emily Wade, 50; Anna Tuner, 58; and Savannah Brown, 69.
