Obstructing governmental operations, S. Ash and Hardy streets.
While on patrol, officers noticed a man walking along S. Ash Street. They made contact with the man because it was 3 a.m. and they wanted to be sure he knew the area was a "high crime area." The suspect told the officers that he was out walking to get out of his house because he had been involved in an argument with his wife. When the officers asked the suspect for his name and date of birth, the man gave them a birth date for the year 1998. Since the officers did not believe that the suspect was only 13, they detained him. The suspect gave the officers his real name and date of birth and was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center and cited for obstructing governmental operations.
