Step back in time and visit the Faulkner County Museum during its 8th annual Holiday Open House 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. The Museum and the Dog Trot Cabin will be dressed for the Christmas season. Traditional skills demonstrations will include candle-making, spinning and weaving, corn husk and yarn doll making, fiber-dyeing, sauerkraut making and more. Hot apple cider, coffee, and gingersnaps on the Cabin Porch will be served. There will be a Christmas gift shop selling handmade crafts, and homemade baked goods. The Conway Women’s Chorus will perform at 3 p.m. The Museum Main Building, and the Railroad Layout exhibit will also be open for touring.
The Faulkner County Museum, Courthouse Square, 801 Locust St., Conway. Admission is free, with donations being accepted.
