GREENBRIER Ark. – Damon Edwards of Greenbrier announced today he will seek the Republican nomination in the Faulkner County Justice of the Peace District 12 race.
"I’m proud to be running for an opportunity to serve the citizens of Faulkner County," said Edwards. "As a member of the Quorum Court, I will use my life and business experience along with common sense and team work to address issues that come before the Court."
Edwards has worked for Windstream Communications for the past 27 years and currently serves as Manager of the Windstream CPE Technical Assistance Center in Little Rock. He graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1977 and has been married to his high school sweetheart Rhonda for 34 years.
He is member of the PCC (Partner Community Council), a non-profit forum of Avaya authorized partners and Avaya employees, where he serves on the leadership team as Deputy Chairman of the Documentation and Training Task Force. He has also served as a reserve deputy under former Sheriff Bob Blankenship and has volunteered as a hunter safety instructor.
"I want to provide Faulkner County residents with a conservative voice as we look for ways to grow our local economy, promote fiscal responsibility and enhance transparency in county government," Edwards said.
