The Conway EcoFest committee invites the public to share ideas at its brainstorming and community input meeting rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, at the Faulkner County Library; snacks will be provided. The meeting is designed to generate exciting, fun and fresh ideas for its Sept. 8 event in Laurel Park!

Volunteers and educators are crucial to making this an exciting, fun, comprehensive and balanced educational event for our entire community. Co-organizer Whitney Beckham explained that a diverse group of people with varied talents, interests and ideas are encouraged to attend this meeting.

If you have an interest, connections, or curiosity about health issues that pertain to our environment, or about animals, cars, energy sources, energy-efficiency, forestry, Green Building/energy-efficiency, natural resources, organics/agriculture, sustainability, water issues, community service, or any overlapping issues, your help would be most welcome. A variety of skills and talents, such as in the arts or construction, are needed, to help make it a fun and exciting event for all ages.

The library meeting room is located at 1900 Tyler St. in Conway, on the west side of building.
