Drunkeness, 700 block of Highway 365, Mayflower.
A deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to a woman who was passed out in her front yard. When the deputy arrived at the home, the woman was conscious and was walking into the house. The deputy made contact with the woman and she advised that she was upset so she had been drinking. The deputy asked the woman if she needed medical attention and she advised that she did not. The deputy left the home but was called back when someone called to report that the woman was passed out again. When the deputy arrived, the woman was conscious and refusing to let the first responders assist her. However, when MEMS arrived, the woman allowed the deputy to walk her outside to be checked by emergency personnel. The deputy noted that the woman had a hard time walking and was "wobbly". He also noted that he would smell a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the woman. The medical personnel advised that the woman was "fine, just intoxicated". She was placed under arrest and transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center for a six hour detoxification hold.
