Five members of the Morrilton Kiwanis Club were visitors at the Conway Kiwanis Club today. They were: Raleigh Sharrock, Judge Edwards, Al Franks, Olen Fullerton and Carroll Johnson, who spoke briefly. Raleigh Sharrock introduced the Morrilton delegation.
The program was in charge of Ivan H. Grove, who presented Dan Pipkin, Ronald Franzen, Nyms Barker, Robert Sanford and Mark Vaught, who gave a highly humorous program of novelty music and impersonations. The young men are Hendrix students.
Joe Parrott and Russell Glover were inducted into membership by Mr. Minton.

Edgar B. Parker, former mayor of Conway, returned to Conway last night from a two-day air trip to Forbes Air Force Base, Kan., Colorado Springs, Colo.
Parker was a member of a party of 30 central Arkansans making the trip by military transport for orientation and a tour of the Atlas missile program near Forbes and the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs.
The group toured the launch complex between Burlingame and Osage City, Kan., the missile assembly center and they attended a briefing. The group was flown on the trip by the Second Air Force.
Mayor Howard Lawrence of Greenbrier also made the trip.

Henry C. Burford, son of Cordia M. Mote of Conway, has been accepted as a freshman students at Palmer College of Chiropractic at Davenport, Iowa.
Palmer College, founded in 1895, is the world’s first and largest accredited chiropractic college. Students enroll in a four-year course of study leading to a doctor of chiropractic degree.

Laura Jane Hanlon and Jessica Melanie Zimmerman, both of Conway, successfully completed the Uniform CPA Exam recently.
