The Hendrix College Choir under the direction of Dr. Nancy Fleming will present its spring concert titled "All You Need Is Love" at 7:30 tonight in Reves Recital Hall on the Hendrix College campus.

The program, which is free and open to the public, will feature three 16th-century English madrigals, including "Sing We and Chant It" by Thomas Morley, "Too Much I Once Lamented" by Thomas Tomkins, and "Come Away, Sweet Love" by Thomas Greaves; as well as Johannes Brahms’ "Neue Liebeslieder," op. 65, "Five Hebrew Love Songs" by Eric Whitacre, "Gala del Día" by Carlos Gustavino, and The Beatles’ "All You Need Is Love" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney

Ansley Fleming is accompanist for the choir.

He will be joined by Emily Maverick, Class of ’14. for the piano duo accompaniment in the Brahms waltzes. Chris Baker, adjunct instructor of violin, will be featured in the Whitacre Hebrew Love Songs. Paul Depre, Class of ’13 will play the tambourine.

Student soloists are: Kathleen Combs, Class of ’13, Conner McMains, Class of ’12, Marissa Stubbe, Class of ’14, Eva Englert, Class of ’12, Natalie Skinner, Class of ’15, Trevor Trietsch, Class of ’12, and Heather McPherson, Class of ’12 (all in the Brahms); Ben Fish, Class of ’13 and Hope Coleman, Class of ’14 (Whitacre).
