Conway’s Kris Allen, the 2009 "American Idol," will be back home Friday to sign copies of his new album, "Thank You, Camellia."

He’s scheduled to be at the Walmart on Skyline Drive from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Allen’s lead single from the new album, "The Vision of Love," showcases Allen’s songwriting abilities. He co-wrote every song on "Thank You, Camellia," and was involved in producing the album.

Since rocketing to stardom in 2009, Allen has had five singles on the Billboard charts. His self-titled debut album featured his hit single "Live Like We’re Dying." It has had combined digital sales of more than 1.7 million.

Since the release of his first album, Allen has toured with Keith Urban, Maroon 5, Barenaked Ladies and Lifehouse, and has headlined his own club tour.
