A Faulkner County Sheriff’s office employee is on vacation this week after being arrested on a harrassing communications charge.
Sheriff’s Maj. Andy Shock said Tabitha Janiece Henderson, a detention officer with the department, learned of the warrant on July 2 and was booked and released.
The warrant stemmed from an incident involving voicemail Henderson allegedly left on her ex-husband’s wife’s phone, Shock said, which resulted in the wife’s pursuit of a warrant on the basis of harassment.
Shock said the incident occurred just before Henderson was scheduled to take a vacation. She has not been terminated and is not on paid administrative leave, he said, though an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
