The Conway Police Department has issued a warrant for a man accused of a series of robberies in Pulaski county in connection with the robbery of a Conway bank last month.
North Little Rock police arrested Michael Odell Tillman, 36, of Little Rock on four counts of robbery charges late Tuesday night after a person recognized him in surveillance footage taken from the robbery of a Bank of the Ozarks on McCain Boulevard in Little Rock on Monday afternoon that was shown on the news.
He is accused of robbing two banks in North Little Rock and two in Jacksonville.
Conway police say Tillman is suspected in the June 12 holdup of Centennial Bank on Chestnut Street.
According to police, a witness picked Tillman out of a photo lineup and identified him as the man who robbed the Centennial Bank. Investigators say there is also evidence linking Tillman to the robbery.
Pine Bluff Police say they also believe Tillman robbed the Bank of Star City on East Harding Avenue on Monday afternoon, but have not yet charged him in the case.
